Ms Nath is urbanist with more than 9 years of experience in the development sector. She has worked on spatial planning, affordable housing, slum improvement, smart cities, infrastructure development, governance, and climate resilience in urban areas over the last decade. She has extensively worked with GIZ in project implementation for sustainable development in various cities in India. She had developed various policy documents as part of GIZ’s support to the Government of India on slum upgradation, sustainable industrial development, and marine waste management. She recently supported the development of an “urban green framework” for the city of Coimbatore, India as part of climate change adaptation by the city. She has long experience of working with various public sector stakeholders to enhance their capacities and bring in institutional changes. She has experience in managing projects with multiple stakeholders. She is also adept in business development within the development cooperation sector.
