For our growing team at the headquarters in Berlin, we are looking for a Project Manager with expertise in the areas of digitalization, private sector development and climate change for development consulting. Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Responsible for managing ongoing projects
  • Opportunity to travel to project locations to ensure effective project roll-out
  • Oversee contractual and financial aspects of project management
  • Ensure quality control of specific contract deliverables
  • Coordinate, advise on, and contribute to the development of project deliverables and content
  • Supervise and guide project teams to ensure high-quality results

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Strengthen the company’s visibility and positioning within the industry through active participation in relevant events, forums, and discussions
  • Manage stakeholder relations to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and business practices
  • Monitor industry trends, developments, and best practices to support strategic planning and maintain a competitive edge

New Business

  • Support the New Business team in preparing project proposals
  • Recruit expert teams for various projects and opportunities, including conducting contract negotiations

Experience & Skill Requirements

  • Exceptional academic background, holding a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Economics or another relevant field.
  • At least one year of project management experience for donor-funded projects
  • Demonstrated success in developing and negotiating partnerships and financial agreements for consulting opportunities.
  • In-depth knowledge of market dynamics and a solid understanding of procurement processes and regulations across different sectors.
  • A proven ability to manage and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry experts, to drive business growth.
  • Outstanding negotiation and persuasion skills, with a record of successful deals and partnerships.
  • Full computer literacy and full proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent command of English and/or French; being bilingual is a strong advantage.
  • Display commitment and passion for international development.
  • A proactive “can do” attitude with a strong drive to overcome challenges and achieve business objectives.
